Instructions

The dive centers willing to participate to this contest should register to Mr. Guillaume Ripaud at his mail address (culture@af-fiji.org) before 15^th July.

This contest is open to non-professional photographers. The participants should submit one or two photographs to their dive center, on the “Fiji Underwater” theme before the 10^th August 2016. The concerned dive center should then send 2 pictures from 1 or 2 participants (digital files to send to culture@af-fiji.org  with this submission form) before 15^th August 2016.

By 25^th August, Alliance Française of Suva will select one picture which will be part of its exhibition Fiji and New Caledonia Underwater (running from 20^th October 2016 until 11^th November 2016). The winning dive center and photographer will both receive a French cheese and wine basket, sent by Alliance Française to the dive center.

This contest is free for participants and dive centers. Participants can only send to their dive center picture(s) taken in 2016 and during a dive with their dive center. By sending its pictures, the diver center and the photographer(s) accept the use for free of these pictures by Alliance Française of Suva regarding the above mentioned exhibition.

For the pre-selection phase, the dive center will have to provide 2 digital files in TIFF (.tiff) or JPEG (.jpeg) format with a 300 DPI resolution (minimum : 30x40 cm in 300 dpi in pixel that is 3543x4724pixels).

Following information will also have to be enclosed with the 2 photographs submitted by each participant:

- Reference of the camera used

- Aperture for the shot
