Healthy Eating - Cooking with Local Plants

On Friday 28th September - From 11 am to 1:30 pm

Theme: Sweet treats (low fat!)

Participants will learn how to cook a delicious sweet brunch using local plants. All the recipes will be lactose-free, egg-free, vegan and easy to prepare. After a short explanation on the nutritional characteristics of the different ingredients, participants will learn how to use fruits and veggies to replace unhealthy fat in sweets. At the end of the workshop, participants will have brunch all together on the terrace of the Alliance Française. 

Fees: $40 all included. Max 6 people per workshop.

Vittoria Pasca is an Italian nutritionist and healthy food blogger specialized in vegetarian diets. She lives in Suva, where she created Healthy Eating, a business promoting healthy nutrition and lifestyles. 

She likes cooking with local plants and creating nutritious recipes that she shares on her Facebook page “Healthy Eating Fiji”. She combines different ingredients to make sure meals are balanced and nutrients are well absorbed.

She works as a nutritionist and certified reiki practitioner from Suva Physio Centre.
