Touching topics as vast as the notion of territory, social structure, or clans, Sébastien presents a report produced in 2013 and 2014 that
reveals the intimacy of customary ceremonies celebrated during the three great moments of Kanaks’s life: birth, marriage and mourning.
Through the photographs, sketches and acrylic portraits, texts or diagrams, he returns in this exhibition the generosity Kanak people
offered to him: a fragile but very alive heritage.
