This movie is a comics book adaptation, screened as is taking place in France the 43th Angoulême International Comics Festival.  

Synopsis

Jack Palmer is a Paris-based detective whose swollen ego could cast a shadow over the Eiffel Tower. Ange Leoni is a native of Corsica whose location can't be pinned down by even the most dogged of detectives. Approached by an obscure, small-time attorney and charged with the seemingly simple task of locating the missing Leoni, gifted gumshoe Palmer accepts the job under the false assumption that it will be the easiest money of his professional career.

Résumé

Le détective Jack Palmer a pour mission impossible de retrouver Ange Léoni, un caïd indépendantiste recherché par toutes les polices de France, en Corse afin de lui remettre un titre de propriété issu d'un héritage. Il se heurte dans cette comédie policière à la loi du silence et aux explosifs d'une société traditionnelle de culture corse.
