Thursday 16th November – 6.30pm at Bad Dog Café (Damodar) – 80 $ including a 3 courses dinner, French cheese and 4 assorted French wines.

Limited number of tickets : first arrived, first served !

Once again this year, the Alliance Française de Suva presents its annual Beaujolais Nouveau Evening.

From 1951, the Beaujolais Nouveau French vintage is celebrated in France and all around the world from the third Thursday of the month of November. It is the biggest worldwide wine celebration, and due to its geographic location, Fiji will be the first country to launch this event.

As French people do, we will have the occasion to taste Beaujolais vintage with a typical French cuisine menu, composed by a Soupe à l’oignon gratinée  (au gratin onion soup) as a starter, a traditional Boeuf bourguignon main course (Burgundy beef with mashed potatoes and veggies), before concluding with Profiteroles (desert). The evening will all along be accompanied with French music, while also tasting Brie French cheese and a range of assorted French wine vintages and obviously the famous Beaujolais.
