On this month of January, most of our events are focusing on Comics Literature, as takes place in France the Angoulême International Comics Festival, celebrating this year its 44th anniversary (26^th to 29^th January). It is the second biggest comics festival in Europe, and the third in the world.

Largo Winch is a Belgian comic book series by Philippe Francq and Jean Van Hamme, published by Dupuis. It has started as a series of novels by Jean Van Hamme in the late 1970s. Its principal character is Largo Winch; birth name Largo Winczlav, who was born in Yugoslavia. Other important characters include Nerio Winch (his adoptive father, though they share a great-grandparent), senior Group W executives John D. Sullivan and Dwight E. Cochrane, and his friend Simon Ovronnaz.

Synospis :

Largo Winch, the newly appointed CEO of the W Group, is accused of crimes against humanity on the very day he announces his intention to sell his corporation and use the proceeds to create a humanitarian foundation.

Résumé :

Propulsé à la tête du groupe W après le décès de son père adoptif, Largo Winch décide, à la surprise générale, de le mettre en vente afin de créer une ambitieuse fondation humanitaire. Mais le jour de la signature, il se retrouve accusé de crimes contre l'humanité par un mystérieux témoin. Pour prouver son innocence, Largo devra retourner sur les traces de sa vie passée, au cœur de la jungle birmane.
